Finally we have our visas. The arrived in the mail attached to our passports.

It has been a long road to get this far. Four times we have gone back and forth with New Zealand Immigration. The last time they wrote us it came out that the issue was my (Tom) weight. The good news is that I have dropped 70 pounds, most of that prior to knowing it was the road block.

So off we go to New Zealand a happy healthier couple. We don't know our departure date, and frankly we are more concerned about saying good bye to friends and family.

So our next task is to figure out when we will travel to our parents out east. Once we have that on the calendar it is time to figure out when we can have everyone here in Chicagoland over for a couple of parties. Going away party for the family, and a early birthday party for Dennis.
