My first Earthquake

It certainly got my attention. The windows rattled and whole house shook, very much like a strong wind hit us. That is what I thought it was at first, when the second wave hit I was sure it was a wind out of the west. Then I remembered that most winds here are predominately north or south.

Suddenly I knew that I had just felt my first earthquake!
