Summer

is almost here.  They declare it December 1st down here.  A bit disorientating as I would expect it to arrive with the equinox on December 22nd.  But the day is glorious.  Just beautiful sunny and warm.  This is one of those 'good days' where you cannot find a better place in all the world to be than Wellington.
