We arrived without trouble at 1:30pm local time, that would be 3:30pm Wellington, and 10:30pm Chicago time. The flight to Sydney was marked by the completion of two Sudoku puzzles and reading to placate Dennis as he was very tired. The flight to Cairns was even less momentous ... watched the new Star Trek.
Chris rented a car and we drove the 15 minutes to the holiday park. The car is relatively big (I will get the make later) and it has a v6! Wow what power, what luxury.
The Holiday park is a hit. Two pools, a hot tub, and various other child friendly entertainment. Then there is the free wifi :) Look for pictures to be posted over the next few days.
Tomorrow we go to the Great Barrier Reef! I am excited.
