It had been a long time since Tom and I went to a classical music concert. We heard the Bachoir and the Chiesa Ensemble perform Coronation Anthems by Handel and Come Ye Sons of Art by Purcell. The concert took place at St. Andrews on the Terrace, a lovely church with great acoustics. Dennis was home with a sitter. We fed our souls with beautiful music. Then we fed our stomachs at Wagamama Asian cuisine. The restaurant also had a harbor view. So we had some special treats and relaxation.
We stopped at the video rental place and got the movie The King of Kong. It's about the video game Donkey Kong and who holds the highest score. Quite an entertaining and interesting documentary style film. It's not so much about the game as it is the egos of the top contenders.
We've got more movies for later in the week since they had a special 4 for $10 but don't tell Dennis that. He gets jealous that we adults get to watch movies when we want but he has to wait for the weekend.
